3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Lovely dark gold color. Yeasty undertones amidst a medium pale malt body. Some mustard seed and a clear hop end that I appreciated - leaves a sharp biting bitter like orange peel, dryish too. Quite good

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2005 Tap, Café De Engel Oldenzaal. Served too cold, so it’s hard to detect any aroma. But the flavor is hoppy and creamy, with just a bit of malty sweetness and pepper. Simple, but nice and well balanced. Hoppy aftertaste with a hint of peach.
Bottle: Hoppy, oily, just a bit flowery aroma and flavor. Citric, hoppy, oily aftertaste. Absolutely lovely beer!

Bright dark copper color; creamy head. Malty aroma, sweet, mature, quite fruity (red grapes). Very smooth, balanced, but slips a bit thin in the end. Anyway, a nice bitterness.
