3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a murky yellow colour with a good size head and nice carbonation.
Clear hoppy and yeasty smell with some sour fruits there too.
Has a very nice taste too it of hops and yeast with some fruits and also a good amount of bitterness.
Goes down with a very nice mouth feel and a bit of warmth.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Dark golden color, hazy and with a fluffy head. Aroma is dominated by grassy hops with a citrus touch. A little grainy and hay-like aroma, probably from the malts. Medium bitterness that stays on the palate for quite a while, along with those grassy hops. I like that! Less sweet than other beers in the Affligem range that I have tasted, easily my favourite Affligem. Reminds me of Saison-style beers. Very nice!

Bottled. Pours hazy golden with pillowy white head, a bit of flaky sediments. Taste is medium sour. Palate has a light body, wet sticky mouthfeel. Aromas have surprising complexity with spices and citrus.

Bottle Share. Good brew that pours a golden blonde with a nice creamy head. Hops and Malts are well balanced. Crisp and sharp with the right amount of bitter and citrus. Good brew

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
33cl bottle at home: Brilliant old gold with a massive, slowly fading, yellowed head. First impressions are of earthy hops wrapped in tinfoil. Wow, really aluminum character with hops and some breadiness. Yeast is quite abundant in the nose as well with some alcohol fighting its way through. Taste starts out with brad, yeast and pretty sharp tinny hops. Canít get away from this metallic character. Alcohol, bread and biscuit take you through the middle to a nicely hoppy (for a belgian) finish. Light mouthfeel. A bit of raw earth in the back of the throat with tin and hops working their way back to meet the earth. The metal seems to work itself out in the flavor but never leaves the aroma.

Pours a deep gold with a large off white head. Nose is a bit sharp, sweet and alcohol notes even though it is not high. Flavor sweet and hoppy, with predominant dryness.

Had this at a La Mort Subite on 12-08-10 (4,90 euro). Golden amber color similar to apple juice with a think white head. Lots of carbonation coming through. Sweet and malty notes with a crisp, clean mouth feel. Similar to a Pilsner.
