750 ml. bottle. Light golden pour with pretty big fizzy white head. Aroma of tropical fruits, banana, passion fruit, apricot, with subtle bread aroma underneath. Taste reveals a wonderful blend of spices and fruits, with a pretty crisp bite to the attack and mellow fruitiness on the finish. Spices first noticeable, clove and classic Belgian spices slightly characterized by pepper, underlined with fruits, which actually turn into a rather dry taste, to return to a strong fruitiness on the finish. Slightly more bitter than the aroma, star fruit, passion fruit, white grape flavors. Overall an excellent tripel, and a good value as well.

Bottle. Poured a hazy pale with an off-white head that settles to a ring and left light lace. Aroma of tart fruit. The flavor found prune, raisin, clove, and yeast. Medium body and a clove aftertaste.

Aroma is very lively with bright notes of citrus fruit, coriander, cloves, yeast and a lingering spicy hop finish. Flavor is similar, with fruit being on the front, and a lingering finish of yeast, malt and a spicy finish. Fairly carbonated in the mouthfeel. Overall a delicious tripel!

Bottle from BevMo. Pours translucent peach-orange, with much less head than I expected. Spicy aroma - coriander, clove - with a hint of alcohol underneath. Strong flavor mirrors the aroma - spice/banana sweetness, then tart fruit, then hoppy bitterness, then alcohol, then it smooths out to a sweet aftertaste. The alcohol is by no means hidden. Interesting. One for enjoying slowly.

A very good tripel. Pour is dark amber with a huge 3 finger white head. Aroma is very sweet malts and fruits with yeast. Very nice aroma. Taste is yeasty and extremely malty and moderate yeast. Very little fruit flavours. Nice smooth tripel with sticky palate. Spicy yeast aftertaste. Overall, a nice very drinkable tripel with well hidden alcohol.

750 ml bottle. Pours a deep honey amber color with three fingers of white foam which does not last for long. Aroma of fruity esters, sweet malts, and yeast. Flavor of syrupy sweet malts, yeast, and weak fruit flavors. Okay, but two sweet and not nuanced enough. (529, 242)

0.75 L corked bottle from Vinmonopolet. Big airy, snowy white head, mostly lasting. Hazed, yellow-golden body. Perfumed alcohol-soaked fruits on the nose, quite sharp actually, with herb/spice notes, and hint of grassy hops. Slight sweet, not fully rounded malt flavor. Noticeable alcohol warmth. Grassy and fruity hop bitterness and mild spices beneath. Lively, yet quite soapy mouthfeel. Hot, sharp, spiced fruity ending.

Clear orange brownish pour, medium foamy head. Fruity aroma with strong yeast, some hops and sugar. Sweet yeasty fruit flavour, bitter hops and citrus fruit.

750ml - Aroma of doughy spicy yeast, straw, pale malts with subtle hops. Flavor matched with a sweet finish. Alcohol is well hidden, Palate is sticky. A flawless example of the style.

Flaske 0,75l fra Vinmonopolet i Tromsø. Lys gylden på farge. Litt uklar. Høyt luftig skum som varer. Skummet fester seg til glasset. Behagelig fruktig & syrlig aroma. Avrundet smak: Mye alkoholsødme. Vinøs, sherryaktig med en forsiktig tørr ettersmak. Mye partikler i siste kvelling.
