3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 RoodMormel (42) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 10, 2012
Pours a nice golden/orange color. Little foam. Aroma has lots of different smells, hard to pinpoint what it exactly is. Aroma disappates fast. Full body flavoured, hints of pear and a bit of lemon, pretty decent beer. Has a heavy aftertaste though
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 danielyabu (742) - União da Vitória, BRAZIL - MAY 6, 2012
large creamy frothy white head. excellent lacing. mostly diminishing. translucent sparkling average-density dark orangeish-yellow body. aroma: moderate hoppy, grape, grass, honey, alcohol. if: moderate sweet light bitter. ff: moderate sweet bitter; long duration. palate: light medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, chalky medium alcoholic finish. delicioso dulçor frutado, esconde bem o álcool no início, que aparece aos poucos a medida que a mesma vai se esvaindo pela garganta, e ficando pesado já no segundo gole, com toques de destilado, lembrando brandy, menos doce que outras belgas do estilo, lufada de mel no aroma e toques no paladar 110 s

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 frybeer (40) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 4, 2012
It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour.
3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20 supermeniscus (10) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - MAY 4, 2012
OK this is definitely one of the better tripels. Gets very flaky if you chill it too much. When served i got a large frothy head, froth remained in the glass pretty much all the way down. Taste is made up of yeast and spices. The 9.5 ABV is well hidden. Pick one up
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 mutz (119) - NETHERLANDS - APR 29, 2012
Goudkleurig. Niet veel kraag . Redelijk wat prik. Ruikt wat zoetfruitig . Smaakt bitterzoet idem nasmaak. Lichte tot medium body. Ok tripel, mocht wat voller van smaak zijn wat mij betreft.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 Fatehunter (139) - - APR 28, 2012
Poured out of the big bottle into a Westmalle glass. A dull golden color with a half finger of white head.
Mild smelling; honey and sweets.
It tastes heady, you can feel the alcohol lurking in the background. Bread, light malt and mild hop bitterness at the end.
Light to medium bodied with lots of carbonation, which is not bad... leaves tingles on the tongue.
What I find unique and enjoyable about most Belgium beers is their texture. They seem to play that part stronger than most other beers. I thought that was the strongest part of this one...
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 kevinsenn (325) - Waterloo, Ontario, CANADA - APR 28, 2012
Bottle from LCBO. Pours clear amber with a thin head. Nice spicy Belgian yeast aroma. Taste is bubblegum and spice. A little too far on the sweet side, but still good. Full body.
4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 jonsiii (163) - Fredericia, DENMARK - APR 23, 2012
Bottle 33 cl. One of my favorite belgien beers. Fruity, fresh taste and the 9,5% alc. isn’t a problem, not even at room temp.
5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 MeithKichon (6) - - APR 23, 2012 does not count
The best non-Trappist, abbey beers!! Great malt taste with just a hint of hop (subtle)! Slight spice noted also. Color is orange. Big on carbonation since its bottled fermented! My favorite Belgian!
