The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

Bij openen flesje(w#0,3)pinda geur , in het glas schraal vluchtig schuim , in mond korte warmte gloed , blijf achter met samentrekkende dorst lust naar een echt biertje

33cl bottle. Hazy orange pour with a tall but short-lived white head. Smells of Belgian yeast, honey, caramel, elderflowers and that oxidation smell common to most Belgian ales. The taste follows the same notes, bitter-sweet and quite enjoyable.

33cl bottle. Clear golden pour with thick, frothy, white head, some lacing. Aromas of toast, barnyard and wet leaves. Taste is sweet, though balanced and bitter, with distinct sidenote of alcohol. Warm palate, low carbonation. Aftertaste is malty and warm alcohol. Surprisingly fresh and drinkable.

Bottle in NL, BB 17-08-17 so it was very fresh. Pours with the perfect triple style head which held the entire 7 min it took to drink it. Aroma was barely there but the taste was superb. My new favorite triple. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

0.3 l bottle from local AH at 9% abv, bottled in April 2015. Clear, golden yellow with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity aroma of banana, vanilla, clove, straw and hints of booze. Sweet, yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity taste of banana, vanilla, clove and some honey, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, yeasty-spicy, lightly warming finish. Medium to full body, effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Quite tasty, maybe a bit too sweet.
