The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10şC)

Poured hazy peach color. Very little head, minor lacing. Aroma is kind of like a toasted malt but slightly fruity. Taste is not as fruity or citrus-like that I am used to in this type. Somewhat neutral tasting. Nicely balanced with no overwhelming notes of sweetness or bitterness. Nice full mouth-feel. Good finish. Very good drink-ability.

Really nice nose on this one, very unique, has floral Belgian and European stinky! The look is a little lack luster but the flavor profile is nice! The winner is the nice palate and body which stand up well to the ABV! Overall this is an obvious standard for the style! Prost...

330 ml. bottle Big creamy foam, not much retention. Yellow golden colour. Smell of ripe fruits, apple, clove, earth. Too sweet palate, good carbonation. Taste of fruits, apples apricots, clove, spices, maybe pepper. Good, but not great.

Cloudy hazy golden honey colour with lots of flaky sediments; One and a half finger head with white foams; Very good lacing and active carbonation; Fragrant aroma of plum, malt, banana, and vanilla with light alcohol tone. Nice pear aroma becomes apparent as the beer gets warmer; Rich and fulfilling sweet taste of malt, banana, pears, dark fruit, malt, light citrus and hidden hops. Medium body, slick palate, dominated by nice and sweet sugary taste (not cloying) in a well-managed alcoholic background, with a sharp hop bitterness rounds out a nice finish. Slightly dry after taste, very easy and appealing to mouth.

Comments: the disappointment of La Trappe Tripel at lunch was forgotten. This beers proves that a non-Trappist backed by big boys (Heineken) can sometimes outshines the authentic ones. Compare to Chimay White and Triple Karmeliet, this one is, smell- and taste-wise, more fruity (peary), hoppy and alcoholic, all presented in a very nice way. Very enjoyable, highly recommended!

Bela Tripel belga, com ótimo custo beneficio. Aroma frutado, com sabor clássico de frutas amarelas. A carbonataçao poderia ser um pouco maior, mas acho que foi do exemplar. Ótimo drinkability! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cellared bottle dated 11/2012 served in a St. Bernardus snifter. A gentle, cautious pour produced a moderate size, white head that sits atop hazy, apricot-amber liquid with lots of visible carbonation. Good retention and decent lacing. Smell: A mix of light fruits (apricot, banana and pear, in particular) with bready malts, hints of grassy hops and a touch of alcohol. Taste: More delicate than strong but with excellent complexity. Fruity, with hints of banana, pear, and apricot. Lightly spicy with suggestions of clove and pepper. There is some sweetness, but overall this tripel comes across mildly tart, with a fairly dry finish. Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation. Light crispness. Overall: nicely complex and fruity, and leaning to the tart side of the sweet-tart dimension.

cloudy golden colour with very minimal white head; aroma of yeastand citrus; taste of candy sugar, citrus some minimal bitterness (mainly in the aftertaste) and (despite the high ABV) well hidden alcohol with high carbonation; great belgian tripel

Aranyszínű, opálos megjelenésű sör nem annyira tartós habkoronával!Közepesen testes, erősen szénsavas, alkoholja visszafogott.

Aroma: strong malty and fruity (other than citrus) a little floral; Appearance: dark golden, clear, with small moderately long-lasting off-white head; Taste: quite bitter with strong sweetness; Palate: moderately full body, creamy(?) feel, average carbonation; long bittersweet finish; Overall: very good tripel, without flaws
