clear golden pour with plenty of white head. citrusy yeasty smells, classic triple. sweeter than i would have liked, but still pleasant.

gusto: medium sweetness,
palato: average carbonation, full body,
aroma fruttato e speziato,allo stesso tempo alcolico,molto complesso poichè presenta molti degli elementi fondamentali della birra,tutti insieme..il gusto è speciale,molto molto fruttato,l’unica "pecca" se così si può definire è che l’alcool forse è un pò troppo pronunciato,ma resta comunque ottima!

Foamy head, which leaves a beautiful lacing. Unclear orange body. Smells like artificial lemon, like the one added to the bathroom and toilet cleaners. All in all it reminds me of unpleasant house work. I also think the taste of alcohol was too protruding.

Pours hazy yellow golden with a sudsy white head. Smells fruity and bready. Taste is sweet, tangy fruits from the yeast, and a bit like sourdough bread. Medium-to-full bodied with a smooth texture and lots of mouth-carbonation, Affligem Tripel finishes like pears.

Bottled. Hazzy gold with a thin white head. Aroma is spicy, yeasty and sweet. Flavor is sweet fruity with spicy hints. mouthfeel is short and spicy.

Pours a sparkling clear gold with nice big tight foamy head. Aromas of citrus (lemon), yeasty funkiness, grains. Taste is balance of sweetness/sour/bitter. Lovely, refreshing. Alcohol well obscured.

bottle in trappist glass . mid gold , just a touch hazy with thin white head that lays on top throughout and laces . aroma is overripe banana, cloves yeast. medium - full carbonation with decent body . taste starts spicy with sweetness in the middle with a dry slightly bitter finish - a touch too much alcohol in the taste but gives a satisfying afterwarmth . A decent tripel if you like the style but cannot match the Karmeliet .
