COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

Blond trippel, bottle of 33cl. Great taste and palate of bubble-gum (I swear), awfull appearance by the way. In fact, we’re in front of a nice beer, who deserve her medals.

Bottle. Pours a slightly orange Pilsner color. Aromas are apple cider, sweetness that resembled apricots with a hint of strawberry, slight booziness. Taste is relatively fruity with a sligthly bitter and sour kick. Fruitiness resembles perfectly ripe pears. Although the fruitiness is quite mellow and agreeable, it is a bit too much for me. Aftertaste is very dry. Good beginners Tripel though.

Been 25 years since I had this last. Big yellow glow. Initially deep fluffy glossy white head. Structurally very linear with a firm acidic gasoline almost champagne like quality. But no biscuit. Heady and interesting but it doesn’t grab your heart.

Bottle Pours clear blonde, small to good white head. Smell is fruity ( yeasty ) and bit bitter. Too much carbonation . Taste is bit bitter, malty , sharp , some hidden fruity aspects from the yeast . Bit sweet. Aftertaste is bitter, with a sugar touch as well . I lately try to concentrate on the subtile aspects that makes beers like this popular, and get them a very high score indeed . But I still think they’re borning, overcarbonated, 15-in-a-dozen ,.... Still no fan I’m afraid ... One day , perhaps ?

A fragrant aroma with banana, yeast, and cloves. A lovely amber glow with a typical large head. Very sweet taste with alcohol warmth and spicy toasty notes. Smooth on the palate with a slightly bitter finish. Nice tripel.

It doesn't feel very nice on the tongue but it tastes the way a tripel ought to, I suppose.

30cl flesje via Jumbo, Maastricht Alcoholpercentage van 9% Uitgeschonken in Grimbergen glas Uiterlijk: goudkleurige met kleine witte kraag Aroma en smaak: zoet, fruitig zoals een lichte perzik/abrikoos smaak Conclusie: lekker zoetige tripel, bekend abdijbier natuurlijk. Overal verkrijgbaar. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle 33cl. Clear yellow with sturdy white head. Aroma has yeast, some sweetness. Taste is very special. Some sourness (citrus?) is delicately balanced with bitterness. Nice!

Bottle conditioned. Sparkling crystal clear gold body. Loose white head. Nose is cloves, chlorine, wheat, Belgian yeast, alcohol, acetone. orange peel, boiled vegetables, hops. Taste is alkaline with mild sweetness, some tang. Dry finish. Moderate carbonation. Wasn’t able to actually find any sediment within the bottle.
