The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

A nice strong Tripel. Refermented in the bottle, so that’s handy to know in case you’d want to drink it from the bottle

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

01-14-2015 - It is no surprise to me that this beer wins a lot of prizes: very good indeed.

330ml bottle from Tesco poured into a half pint chalice. Golden amber with a tightly packed white head. Banana and almond aroma. Flavours of overripe fruit, vanilla, some back -of-the-tongue astringency: prominent alcohol, Long, dry finish

Sweet beer with hints of cookie dough, fruit and spice. Alcohol certainly noticeable but this is a great beer, really satisfying.

Dorado limpio, espuma blanca ligera. Aromas de fruta madura, manzana o ciruela, pan y azúcar refinado. Cuerpo medio, carbonatación alta, inicio dulce y afrutado, azúcar blanca y final moderadamente seco.

bottle @ Party Town / Florence KY --- Cloudy medium amber color, white head cover, blobs of lace that slip back into the drink. Taste is caramel malt that strays toward bitter in the palate, adding fizz on the finish. Not quite a traditional Belgian, and not one of Affligem’s best, but it is easy to drink, and it keeps the alcohol well-hidden.
