Orange golden with incredibly fine white fully lasting head. Fine lacings on the side of the glass. Aroma and taste of yeast (wheat), fruits & spices. Filling body with a soft texture. Little malty sweetness. Spices and hops dominates the fine lasting finish. Very fine tripel.

Bottle. Fruity aroma, apples? Golden colour. Big stable creamy head. Flavour has a hint of caramellised sugar. Peppery, warming finish. A little astringent.

Bottle at home - bought at Fakta (12,- kr.) Clowdy yellow - white head. Yeast, hop, licorice, wheat, citrus, orange. A good typical Abbey Triple, but a wierd sharp pointy finish.

33cl bottle from Noel Cuveliers. Gold thin white head. Belgian abbey tripel aroma, that belgian yeast, stone fruit and citrus aroma. Maybe more complex than most and certainly a very good aroma. It is an above average tripel. smooth, competent, well put together, certainly nothing off balance. Quite pleasing, fruit really is very nice, finish is a little metallic and really lets the rest of the beer down. Decent without hitting the heights.

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2009 Bottle. An unclear, next to golden beer with an off-white head. Nice, sweet and fruity aroma with some spices and hops. Spiced and fruity flavor with a good bitterness, some yeast notes too. It finishes fruity, spiced and bitter. Medium to full body, quite dry. Nice one. Rating: 7-4-7-4-15-3.7. (080620)

Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a slightly hazy, yellowish golden body, rather fizzy, with a two-finger head leaving some lacings. The aroma is on the fruity, citrusy side, with some banana, a little alcohol and a pleasant hoppy touch. Fruity flavor too, with both citrus and banana. Some herbal and spiced notes and a fine bitterness. Finishes in the same way, with the bitterness lingering. Full-bodied, dry and effervescent. A really pleasant tripel, sure worth another try. Hazy golden, good white head, lace. Aroma of apples and lemon. Good strong body. Starts with tickling carbonation, then opens tasty citric flavors and finishes with alcoholic touch. Some citric acid in the aftertaste. Balanced, good triple, straightforward.

Vibrant orangey-amber colour. Slight haze. Soft, thick head - luscious to behold. Aroma of yeast, pepper, pear, tangerine, slight grass and banana candy. Palate starts out with abundant yeastiness in the form of sweat and dust. Dry pepper alcohol notes come next, leading to a slightly sweeter middle with tangerines and apple skins. Finishes with a herbal hoppiness and a slight shot of alcohol & a kiss of sweet malt for balance. A good mix of assertiveness and balance. Nothing spectacular save for the fact that all the little things are done quite well.

(Bottle) Pours an orange-amber color with a medium-sized, large, bubbly head. Has a fresh spring-time floral aroma with hints of fresh baked bread. Have flavors of bananas, yeast, and malts.

Cloudy golden with minimal head. Aroma is strong butterscotch. Flavor is butterscotch, with some fruitiness that mostly sticks to the swallow. Aftertaste is (surprise) butterscotch. It’s not bad, but definitely nothing special.

Bottle @ Den Tatoverede Enke, Cph.
POurs deep, hazy golden-yellow with a fine, creamy, whit ehead. Good duration. Aroma is soft, quite malty, light yeast and oranges. Fine, creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is lightly vinious, doughy maltiness, some yeast, light pineapple and oranges. LOvely long finish. Wonderful balance.
