Pours golden, clear and with a decent head. Bad retention, though. Smells sweet and malty. Tastes sweet and malty. Some mild bitter towards the end, before continuing in an oily sweet aftertaste with some alcohol warmth. Overruling sweetness makes it not very refreshing and puts it off-balance. There are way better tripels out there.

Ambar clara. Espuma poco consistente. Aroma marcado frutal y a caramelo. Dulce el primer trago, para rápido dejar postgusto muy seco y amargo. Sabor complejo. Su gran mérito esconder los cerca de 10 grados que tiene. Para degustar lentamente en pequeños sorbos. Muy buena.

Bottle from Tesco. Pours clear amber. Nose is fruits, sugar, honey, Belgian yeast. Taste is fruits, honey, spices, bitterish finish. Light booziness. Not the best but very good, also nice to see in supermarket.

Bottiglia. Dorato, poca schiuma di colore bianco dalla durata molto breve. L’aroma è banana, molto leggermente vaniglia, lievemente fruttata. Gusto ben bilanciato tra dolce ed amaro, la giusta complessità. Corpo pieno, carbonatazione aggressiva. Nel complesso molto buona.

Huge carbonation action going on here. Looks great with a frothy white head. Sweet honey and corn flakes scent. Lots on sugary sweet goodness in this one. Grapes, honey, malts, very bubbily! A great Tripel!

Pours clean dark golden. Ivory head. Aroma is low: corn flakes, grass. Aggressive carbonation. Fresh, not too powerful. Thin, watery. Not very long finish.

Une triple classique, fruitée et épicée, à la bouche ronde, onctueuse et équilibrée. Agréable en fin de journée.

Bottle from Tesco. V nice aroma. Fizzy and fresh. Only at the end does the alcohol gently kick in, just to remind you it's a 9% you're drinking. Good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

30 cl bottle@home in Trappist glass@approx 10 degrees. Pours clear dark yellow with disappointingly quickly subsiding white head. Pleasant aroma domiated by citrus and hop with malt also coming in. Somewhat thin in texture but with a distinct spicy sweetness to counter the also present grapefruit bitterness which is most prevalent in the long lasting aftertaste. Slightly effervescent, spicy and complex, but also somewhat boozy
