COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

Hazy amber/gold color; Medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of yeast, fruit, some clove, & spice; Flavor of slight sweet malt, yeast, fruit, spicy hops, and citrus; Finish is slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; Overall, solid tripel - I enjoyed it.

Good, sugary, smell without much hops. Very nice palate, smooth and slick. Aroma is mostly sweet, not sugary but more like honey. It’s really difficult to taste how strong this is. What a brilliant beer.

Bottle 0.33 L. Golden-orange body, with an average, creamy, white head, mostly lasting with (unexpected) fair lacing. Moderate-to-heavy malty (grains) aroma with fruity (apple and maybe banana) and spicy (coriander) notes. Heavy sweet flavour with important spicy (alcoholic) note in the long-lasting finish. Medium body with sirupy texture; lively carbonation; moderate-to-heavy alcoholic feeling in the finish. Very satisfactory.

UPDATED: SEP 26, 2010 Pours a hazy gold, light/small head, light lace, VERY light aroma. I was apprehensive up to this point, then I tasted it. Much stronger taste than smell. I was worried that I was about to drink some water since the aroma so pale and thin. I was wrong. This is a very definitive Abbey Tripel. Very pleased with this one. Good representative of the style.

Beautiful orange color with a porous short-lived head. Wonderful aromas of cloves, ginger, ornages, cinnamon and flowers...Syrupy mouth feel. Nice tripel.

Big bottle poured into belgium glass. Poured light golden color. Little cloudy. Very drinkable and smooth. Hard to believe it is 9 percent Alc. I will give this beer another shot when I get the chance.
