COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

bottle, pours a light golden slightly fuzzy liquid, there’s not much aroma (maybe too cold) but hints of caramel yeast and dust. Initial medium bitterness, light sweetness. lots of carbonation with long bitterish finish.

750 ml corked bottle, now available in Norway at Vinmonopolet. ABV is 9.5%. Pours with a huge white head, which slowly gives way to a golden beer. Pleasant typical triple aroma of Belgian yeast, fruit and a mild spiciness. The flavour is fresh and fruity, again with a mild spiciness, alcohol is noticeable but not overwhelming. Moderately sweet, the finish is slightly peppery, with moderate hops.

Smelled of bread, tasted of bread, nuts and yeast. Nice coloring with sediment clearly in the bottle. Nice inexpensive (for a Belgian) beer.

Golden body. Large bubbled thick head. Champagne cork; it made a loud pop when extracted. Flavors of apricot, belgian candy, banana. Finishes dry. Quite solid trippel.

Bottle 33cl. Wonderful light copper color. Intense thick white head. Sweet yeasty aroma of coconut and banana. Very nice bitter taste. Makes me think of good fruit tea. No prominent alcohol, although 9.5% according to the bottle. Full body with lots of carbonation. Slightly sweet long finish. A favorite.

Pours a cloudy gold with lots of beige head. Aroma is bananas, a little clove and some patchouli (?) Flavor is dry, crisp and very clean. Not much sweetness, which is good. As it warms, it begins to take on a more woody, earthy flavor.

Botte. 25.4 oz. Pours slightly cloudy golden with a thick, white head. Aroma of apples, citrus, hay, barley, wheat, and hops, Fuller bodied, with a clean, smooth finish. Decent blonde tripel.

Bottle. The aroma is sour-fruity, then it gets sweeter and reminds me a little bit of fresh bread. The head is rather large, white and foamy-creamy with a normal duration. The body is clear and orange-red. The taste is light bitter, later during the finish it gets more medical and unfortunately also metallic. The body is dry and medium strong with a lively carbonation.
