COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2009 Pours a hazy orange with a full thick white head that remains. The aroma reminds me of chardonnay a bit, light fruity aromas coming through the barrier of booze. Other aromas of grass and sweet malts are also notable. Tastes of sweet malts and a decent amount of bitter hops. There is a nice hint of yeast coming through as well. Finishes with a clean, snappy feel. A very nice tripel.

Pours gold with a huge, creamy, off-white head; massive retention. Nice lacing. Grassy, straw aromas. Big honey-like malt flavor, bit of light caramel, and a fair amount of sweetness; cleansing hop finish. Medium body. Really solid Tripel that might benefit from a bit more attenuation.

Pours golden, slightly cloudy (emptied the yeast), giant white head that simmers down quickly. Nose of spice, with a hint of citrus. Taste of malt, spice, yeast, quite nutty, and a tinge of alcohol. Very balanced. Finishes rather dry with notes of spice. I really like this brew, very complex.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2009 Pours hazy golden orange with a bubbly white head that quickly dissipates. Aroma of citrus, spicy yeast, a little skunky. Flavor is malt, spice, citrus, yeast and alcohol. Moderate carbonation. Nice.

330 ml bottle. Almost clear, golden body with a big white head. Aroma is sweet and spicy with alcohol. Flavor is quite sweet, a bit fruity, spicy and alcohol. Sweet and plain, not particular complex, but I think it’s pretty OK anyway.

Bottle.Malty, hoppy, a little bit carbonated, complex finish, also a log finish. This is a good example for other triples

Pleasant surprise from my local liquor store. A required sample for someone looking for "drinkability". I like it as an hors d’oeuvre. I won’t bore you with my impressions of flowers, fruits, nuts, aromas, shades, hints, essences; It’s just a very pleasant drinking ale.
