4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 yespr (20653) - Copenhagen O, DENMARK - JUL 6, 2008
33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a huge white, creamy and slowly collapsing head. Subdued spiced, light caramel malt note and mild yeasty in a fine mix meets the nose as the first impression. Flavour starts sweet and delicate fruity, slowly going into a more spiced and dry flavour yet still with a nice level of caramel. Dry and spiced finish, yet smooth and nice in texture and into the finish flavour.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Tmoney99 (6892) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - JUN 29, 2008
Bottle from Rivers Bend. Poured hazy orange color with an average frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Complex spicy fruit and yeasty aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture. Medium citrus balanced flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate to moderate duration with a small alcohol bite. This is a refreshing standout beer.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 BeerEssential (96) - Massachusetts, USA - JUN 24, 2008
Starts off with a fluffy white head with a slightly cloudy golden body. The head doesn’t last too long, though. The scent is fruit mixed with alcohol and has a taste to match. The beer ends with a bitter aftertaste. Once this brew has had time to warm up the alcohol becomes more noticeable and takes on an almost rum-type flavour. Overall, I found this tripel a bit too harsh for my liking.

Flavor is a little sweet with notes of ripe fruit, hops, yeast and grass. Quick finish with a somewhat light to medium body.
