COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

Pours dark straw color with a decent foamy head. Nose is a bit yeasty and spice with a touch of fruits. Nice, crisp flavor of citrus and yeast. Had this last year and remembered it being better. Not a bad beer, though.

Had this in a bottle yesterday at Burger and Brew in Davis, CA. I did not formally rate this, but I did tell grant the scores I would give it. It is a pretty dry, and slightly hoppy beer. Seems more like a saison and a pilsner than a triple. Pretty drinkable.

Pours a hazy orange color with a real nice foamy head. Aroma is citrus fruits, yeasty and a little grainy. This is very well balanced and easy drinking with the flavors I’ve come to expect from a good Belgian Tripel. It’s got a nice spicy, yeasty, citrus fruity flavor with a touch of hops, a mildy sour note with a clean finish. The alcohol content is hardly noticed (until your body tells you) unless you let the beer warm quite a bit. I have to be honest I got sick of it halfway through the bottle (750ml bottle) but maybe that’s because I’ve had too many Tripels lately. Even as I did work my way through the bottle that foam remains on top which produces a nice amount of lacing. An excellent brew!

Purchase in a large bottle from my local ABC liquors. Poured into a goblet. Pours golden brown with a light creamy and slightly frothy head. Flavors are mostly hops, grains, and apricot with hints of peach.

Yellow with a huge head. The aroma was dominated by sugar, yeast and some spices. Flavours were citric with a lot of sugar and coriander. It had a sligthly metallic finish.
