COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

Pours a beautiful light brown with an amazing head. Smells of fruit amd grains, Head is very nice and thick. This beer tastes very complex and is very tasty on the palate. Some notes of honey and grain, fruits, and amazing. For a 9.5% ABV you get a bit of bite but this is a beer you could definitely drink agin and again......

Pours a fairly clear blond color with a big white head and good lacing. Aroma is bananas, Belgian yeast, bread, and lemon. The taste is so smooth and delicious. There’s a lot of depth here, Belgian sugar, bananas, cherries, and bread. Highly carbonated, slightly oily and dry finish. Yum!

Bottle @ home. Standard tripel color: yellow / golden with a white head. Smell and taste decent, carbo firm and body medium. Decent tripel but nothing out of the ordinary.

25/08 0.33 l bottle from from Coop store, Gradisca d’Isonzo. It poured hazy deep golden to orange body with medium to bigger head that lived quite short though. Fine tripel orange aroma, biscuity a bit, strong, but still not alcoholic. Strong malty flavor, biscuit, honey and orange bitterish, with notes of alcohol anyway. Simple, harsh, but kinda enjoyable. Finish was long, chocolate, orange and biscuit (jaffa cakes) slightly metallic and warming. A bit harsh, but I would say an average tripel, not great as it could be read from here. Still nice, of course.

Heavy’s. Big white head, misty golden body. Honeyish, fruity soft malty nose. Taste, orange-rind bitterness clashing with soft maltiness underneath and overrunning it soon ’nuff. Light pear too. Not that good. Slightly too harsh for its own good.

Hazy golden colour with a creamy white head. Spicy, yeasty aroma with lemon, cereal and fruits. Very balanced yeasty and spicy flavour. A very nice tripel.

Birthday present from Double D 2008. Hazy apricot with a medium off-white head that stick around. Aroma of fruit, yeast, malt and air. Taste of alcohol, yeast, esters and light fruit and a somewhat spicy finish. Not terribly tasty.
