COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The king of the abbey beers. It is amber-gold and pours with a deep head and original aroma, delivering a complex, full bodied flavour. Pure enjoyment! Secondary fermentation in the bottle. (Temp: 8-10ºC)

(Caged and corked bottle) This one started out as a gusher, I thankfully opened it over the sink, so there wasn’t that much mess from pouring it. This has a slightly sweet aroma, with a hint of earthy spices. The bottle has visible sediment, and it pours a dark, cloudy yellow, with a giant white head. The beer itself has hints of light fruit, a touch of candi sugar, and a bit of stickiness in the mouthfeel. This is a nice enjoyable Tripel.

First of all, the ABV as listed on the bottle is 9.5% vs. 8.5%. Pours a slightly pale golden with vigorous carbonation and a thick beautiful white head. Aromais subtle; bready and earthy. Taste is smooth and a little sweet from the pale malts. There’s also some grassy notes and mild citrus as well. Refreshing and well balanced, but not complex. Good stuff!

tkrjukoff (2284) - SWEDEN - MAR 17, 2011
Pours beautiful clear redish amber with a huge creamy off white head leaving nice lacing. Lots of tiny bubbles, nice. Aroma is sweet malty, hoppy, fuity, bread, nutty and raisins. Sweet hoppy fullbodied mouthfeel. Flavor of alcohol, malts, acidy, hops, fruits, citrus, grapes and caramel. Pleasant tart and sweet medium palate. Finishes fruity sweet with a nicely balanced longlived tart hoppy aftertaste.
