3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Dark amber borwn. Thin head. Fairly rich caramel malts with some old ale fruitiness. Sweet, light toffee character. The finish brings some of that fruit in as well, and a dash of alcohol.

Aroma: Sweet molasses, dark dried fruit, alcohol,
Appearance: Hazy brown body. Spare light-brown head.
Flavour: Medium-sweet, dried fruit, medium-bitterness.
Palate: Medium body. High carbonation. Alcohol warming.
Overall: Do not be fooled by the name, this is NOT a Bitter! I think this beer will go down great with a plate of rich food.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from brewery. Cloudy brown with stable coffee colored head
Although yeasty on the nose and palate, it works here, offering a nice body with a natural feel...the malt character is rich and lovely throighout.
Bready and good
