COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full on American-style pale ale bursting with fresh, citrusy Cascade hop flavor and aroma. The pale and Vienna malts provide a sweet and substantial backbone while kilned amber malt lends a toasted and bready note.

On tap at 307 with everyone after the tasting at Matt’s. Pours a mostly clear amber gold with a thin to medium sized white head. Lemon and citrus with a bit of caramel and toffee, medium bodied. Sweet with a touch of plum and caramel. Toffee and sweetness. Long pithy grapefruit on the finish.

Tap @ Angels Trumpet Phoenix. Pours a clear golden orange appearance with an off white head. Light butter, sweet malty, light citrusy aroma. Flavor is also a bit fucked up with some veggie, chewy herbal, woodsy notes in addition to some citrusy, hoppy bitterness. Not horrible but has some issues.

jstraw (1914) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - DEC 14, 2012
Draft at Jerry’s. Clear caramel-orange with creamy, white head / Bright nose of citrus, weed, and caramel / Medium body, watery, with otherwise good balance and bitter finish / Weak but good flavors of cut pine, orange peel, grapefruit, caramel, weed, and earth / Fix the body problem and this is very good.

Draught at brewery. Big hoppy and bitter APA that is extremely tasty. Lots of grapefruit and pine. Nice orange body. Well done. Should be a regular offering.

ContemplateBeer (1530) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Aroma of moderate grapefruit, confectionery sugar and caramel. Appearance was copper with light bone head. Flavor of caramel and confectionery sugar, but with sustained grapefruit. Palate was bubbly. Good APA.
