From Farmhouse on tap. Aroma of chocolate. Dark brown/black with off white head. Chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, and caramel tastes. Slight creamy body. Overall, I enjoyed this Kentucky stout and I’m wanting to taste more from this brewery.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas & Vova. 7%. Black with a nice light brown head. Aroma of roast, milk chocolate, coffee and a fruity note. Sweeetish flavor with roast, milk chocolate, coffee, a dark fruit note and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
A- Malty, slightly bitter, roasty.
A- Black color, black liquid, tan head.
T- Malty, bitter, roasty, lactose.
P- Full body, thin texture, medium carbonation, strong finish.
O- Not a whole lot of sweetness going on or a whole lot of coffee, cocoa, mocha, etc. Sort of fizzy and looked more like a Coke. This left a ton to be desire.

3.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bomber poured into tulip. Not much head going on, super oily, dark reddish brown. Aromas of a roasted malt bomb, with a boozy finish. Balanced for a milk Stout as its more of a bitter cocoa finish than the lactic sugars, and a dry coffee finish.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours pitch black with a tan head. The smell is roasted malt, coffee, dark bitter chocolate. The taste is as it smells with some brown sugar, licorice ending dry and roasty. The body is medium/full with tight carbonation. Pretty nice stuff.

Draft at Good Dog. Pitch black pour with some soft tan foam. Scattered lace. Very dark cocoa with milk. Chilled espresso. Black liquorice. Notes of burnt celery heart, dried berries and charcoal grill. Nice hop burn in the finish. Adds a nice counterpoint to the creamy lactose sugars. Different. Well constructed.

Bottle from Antioch Fine Wine. Pours black with tan head. Nose is bakers chocolate, light licorice, espresso, some caramel and brown sugar. Interesting complex blend. Taste is dark chocolate, caramel, espresso, molasses, and cocoa. With creamy milk. Medium to full bodied. Finishes sweetly bitter with a nice blend of the two - leaning to the bitter side, but creamy. Just a bit more depth and would be a wonderful impy stout. First AtG - will find more. 15.2

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Black pour with a very thin espresso head. Sweet aroma with hints of chocolate and roasted grain. Medium mouth. Taste is pretty sweet but finishes bitter. Great roast component full of bitter dark chocolate and espresso beans. One of the better milk stouts I’ve had. One flaw is the mouth is a little on the light side.

Relative straight forward stout with nice roast, char, and earthy notes. I would consider this an Imperial dry stout more than anything. It is what it is and there is nothing wrong with that.... Sweet Stout? UR kidding right?
