Taking awesome and doubling it can only be double awesome. It’s math. This is essentially the 35K recipe doubled. Double roasty, double chocolatey, double creamy, double delicious. Then we decided to make it 2.5X awesome by aging it in Angel’s Envy barrels for a really, really long time. The bourbon and oak flavors perfectly compliment the massive flavors in the double mega imperial milk stout. You don’t swim in this beer, it swims in you!

very dark brown colour, half inch of brown creamy head; aroma of cherry, herbal liqueur, some vanilla, chocolate, hints of alcohol...and the expectorant of my childhood, mixtura pectoralis; taste is the same with significant bitter aftertaste follwoing the complex bittersweet taste - perfect imperial stout

On tap. Black colour, small dark brown head. Intensive smell of dried cherries, liqueur and dark chocolate. Aroma brings the same intensivity combined with the barrel aromas, mouthfeel is oily and sticky. Finish is long and liqueurique escorted by licorice. A heavy bomber.

Brutál a kinézete, s?r?, sötet, kremes, mint egy olvasztott csoki. Illata konyakos, csokis, meggyes, likoros, bonbonos. Ize is ilyen, konyakmeggyes, csokolades, edeskes, kisse gyogynovenyes, igen likoros. Testes, suru, olajos, alig bubis es igen alkoholos. Utoize keseredes, likoros, brutalis. Bebasz!

On tap at Against The Grain. Pours black with a small dark chocolate head. Aroma of alcohol, roasted chocolate malts, dark chocolate, bourbon, oak, coffee, vanilla and licorice. Taste is same as the aroma but much, much bigger! Long finish of roasted malts and alcohol. Full bodied, thick and chewy texture, average carbonation. Amazing beer! A must try for any imperial stout fan!

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours clear, brown-black with a fine, tan cream head. Exceedingly rich but still pretty nicely balanced. Lots of chocolatey malts, raisins. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Oily chocolate in the finish, some boozy warmth. Very tasty.

Craft Clerkenwell. Keg. Opaque black beer with a small tan head. Nose is pure bourbon barrel and darl malt lovliness. Palate is suprisingly light and mildly crisp from superfine carbonation. Smooth and semi sweet creamy dark malt with the expected oak smoothness. Vanilla and toasted coconut. No roast or bitterness in this one. Fruity bourbon with just a touch of spice. No real heat. If there can be such a thing as an easy drinking 13.1% beer - this is it!

On tap at PSBH, Manchester. Pitch black with a thin brown head. Big aroma of chocolate, treacle and molasses. I’m also picking up some underlying raisin and figgy fruit. Nice milk chocolate taste, similar to the aroma but roastier and tobacco-edged. Very good stuff.
