Draft sample. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate yeast balanced sweet malt aroma. Medium to abundant body with a smooth sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy toasted sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where met.

Draft. Light cherry malt aroma. Orange-brown with small head. Sweet light coffee/caramel malt and mildly bitter herbal hops flavor. Nicely drinkable.

Draft in a sampler at the brewpub. Pours a semi-cloudy amber with a small off-white head. Notes of amber and caramel malts, earth, nuts, toast, and a little bit of dried dark fruit, but not that much. Light-medium bodied, with a malty mouthfeel and moderate carbonation. Not bad.

Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a transparent dark copper with foamy off-white head. Smells and tastes of Belgian yeast with a fairly sweet malt profile and soft notes of dark fruit. Pleasantly dry on the palate. Not bad.

Sample at ATG on 9/14/13. Clear amber to copper pour with a thin off-white head. Aroma of malt, caramel candy, banana and clove. Malty and caramelly flavor with light cherry and booze before a caramel finish.

Draught at The Beer Trappe. Amber with caramel and a bit of nutty flavor.Pretty different in taste. Not yeasty as I would expect a Belgian. For the red...I get a little of that red in it. Maybe slight cherry.

Wooden brown....hazy..short, off-white head.
Wood/nut aroma, caramel.
Taste is slightly tangy, wood, fruit and herbal hops.

Sampled at the brewery. Pours ruby/amber with a beige head. Aroma of spicy yeast, caramel and pale malts, hints of tartness, and a light bitterness. Flavor the same. Average texture. Not a bad beer.

Draft @ brewery. Malty apple aroma. Deep copper with a moderate creamy beige head. Slightly sweet musty fruity malt flavor. Light body, soft - almost flat - carbonation.

draft poured deep red color with white head...some lacing on glass...massive malt nose with some dark fruit present..the flavor again is a massive malt base...sweet with caramel present on the front end and some dark fruits mid way thru and on the end. there is some bitterness mixed in but doesn’t take away from the flavor.
