COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is a very hop forward American style IPA. Brewed with Pale, Vienna, Munich and wheat malt for a solid base for all American hops, focusing mainly on the variety “Citra.” Citra hops are a relatively new variety introduced in 2008. It was bred as a hybrid of a number of different hops, including Hallertauer Mittelfrüh, U.S. Tettnanger, East Kent Golding, Bavarian, Brewers Gold, and other unknown hops. The resulting hop, Citra, has a distinct citrusy and tropical fruit flavor and aroma. In Citra ass down we used American Columbus for bittering and 11# of Citra at the end of the boil for late kettle addition flavor and aroma. Then we added 6 more pounds Citra and 5# Centennial post fermention for aroma.

draught@Erzbierschof - quite clear amber-orange beer with a little persistent foam left; pretty hoppy with earthy and apricoty notes; a good malt backbone, rounded, a solid yet velvety bitterness, quite dry and with long fruity hoppy tones and more light earthy notes in the finish

On tap, at The Local Pub, Athens (Greece). Amber, with a small white head. Bitter, dry, hoppy as hell - with loads of citrus and tropical fruit in both the aroma and the taste. Very direct and to the point indeed. Absolutely to my own taste preference - just gorgeous.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark.

Unclear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, moderate hoppy, orange - citrus, mandarin, dusty. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dusty, dark orange, dry. There is something i can not put words on but that i not that fun off (both aroma and flavor) !! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130107]

Keg (Pudel, Tallinn)
Sugary sweet caramelly aroma, tyucal US IPA. Smooth sweet sticky palate, sugary, for want of a better word. Tastes of dark sugary biscuity malts. Sugar, sugar, everywhere, not any drop (of beer) to drink. So So underattenuated, it’s almost slimy. However, the zingy citrussy hops are nice, they’re the only thing that saves this from being a disaster. However, it doesn’t quench my thirst at all, as it’s too damn sweet. Leaves my mouth sticky.

On tap at the Local Pub at Halandri, Athens. Aroma: Tangy, fruity (grapefruit, pineapple, mango), piny, spicy, a little yeasty. Good malt presence. Mouthfeel: Medium body, oily feel. Taste: Very bitter, full of grapefruit and lemon rind goodness. Some honey/bread/caramel-like malty notes. Finish: Bitter, citrusy, astringent, dry. Overall: Awesome.
