3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
On tap @ Crowbar. This is a orangy looking softly cloudy one with a small islandy sidesticking off-white head. Really peachy and light hoppy on the nose with a little bit of malty sweetness, pine cones and apricot. Not to extreme, but it smells quite nice. Yeah, it’s definitely piney in the taste also. Green pine cones with both birch and wet leafs. It has a oily mouthfeel and a below average carbonation level. It’s also a bit sweet and fruity with peaches, strong malty caramel and malt drops. In a way it tastes a bit like a double IPA this. Citrus and a little bit of grapefruit in the finish, and for some reason me tongue is stingy/prickling a long time after I’ve swallowed this. No doubt, this is a fine one. 16.10.2013
