Aroma of caramel and light chocolate malts, a little pumpkin and spice, and some floral hops. Flavor a nice blend of everything without too much pumpkin. Average texture. A pretty good pumpkin beer.

Draft to taster at AtG. Looks good; a fairly opaque brown with sticky off-white lacing. Smells and tastes like pumpkin and hops with some coffee in there (which throws off the balance a bit). Average on the palate. Okay.

Finishing up with a bonus pint I had to try this based on the name alone. The result was not disappointing at all. It might be one of the better regional pumpkin beers I have tried. A good balance between sweetness and earthiness makes it hard to put down.
Aroma / Appearance - Long spindly legs sweep downwards after an aggressive swirl. The yellowed head floats like flecks of newspaper. Underneath a chocolate brown base sits idly. Nutmeg, cinnamon, cardamom, and other fall spices sweeten the air. The base that holds it all together is charred pie crust.
Flavor / Palate - Pumpkin, coffee, nutmeg, and allspice rolls across the tongue. The dry roasted finish hangs like seeds on the back of the throat. This was my favorite and a beer worth returning to if it ever is brewed again.

Tap at brewery. Strong ginger, smoky roasted pumpkin malt, light coffee aroma. Deep brown with a small off-white head. Ginger, smoky roasted pumpkin, ash, nutmeg, light coffee, and subtle bitter flavor. Medium body. One of the more unique and exceptional pumpkin beers I’ve tried. I liked the coffee touch, and the fact the brewer didn’t try to go all pumpkin pie with it.

Aroma of fresh pumpkin, light nutmeg and other spices. Appearance is caramel/amber with bone head. Flavor matched the nose; the finish came off as a bitter/spiced combo. Palate was bubbly and soft. Solid.

Draft. Nutmeg, cinnamon, and pumpkin malt aroma. Dark brown with minimal head. Mildly sweet cinnamon, nutmeg, and pumpkin malt flavor. Mildly bitter grass finish. Very nicely blended. Tasty.
