COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
American IPA
Be the first on your block to try the Hoppy Seconds...it’s our 2nd hop beer...what?
An American-style India Pale Ale brewed with over a thousand pounds of pale, Vienna and wheat malts to provide a solid backbone on which to showcase the American hop character central to this style. Nearly 30 pounds of hops added in 6 different stages makes the citrusy, piney and resinous hop character explode in your face. 16.6°

A solid IPA hits the spot. Not overly aggressive it is not too bland either. The ideal addition to any flight this would be good company for a meal before a baseball game. Hopefully the rest live up to expectations.

Aroma / Appearance - Semi-opaque bronze fluid splashes around the glass. A white fringe of head decorates the top like icing. Lemons, citrus, and oranges mix into a bitter feel of grass clippings.

Flavor / Palate - Initially bitter the mouthfeel begins to warm the palate after a few minutes. Clinging to the tongue and throat it livens the senses. For an IPA it is on the heavy side at 7% but despite that doesn’t wear down the palate over time. For a new brewery this is a promising start.
