3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very good peaty smoked beer. Their is something else in the flavour except for the regular peat which make it complex and interesting. A good beer!

Bottle shared during DC Beer Week, courtesy of Ed. Hazy brown pour with an off white head. Smoky aroma. Flavors of smoke and oak. Would be nice on the veranda with a good cigar.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle courtesy of Ed, thank you sir! Hazy golden amber color. Aroma of vanilla, very light smoke, whiskey. Taste is an odd combo of meaty smoke and booze. Doesn’t work for me.

Tap @ BierCaB, Barcelona.
Pours hazy orange color with a laywomen head. The barrel aroma is very strongly present here, bourbon, some peat, vanilla and some dark fruits, very faint smoke notes. Very smooth velvety palate, some smoky ham and malts on flavor, vanilla, ripe fruits and caramel. Quite heavy mouth feel.

2.8 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Aroma is delicious, it smells like bacon, that is why I chose this beer between the 30 other options. This brew is crystal clear and head retention very persitant. The taste did not please me very much in the beginning, it was something leatherish, not a nice lambic/wild leatherish, it was something rougher, as the minutes passes it was getting Warmer and better to drink, not that much better, though. In the end it tasted like a very good whisky, which is not my cup of tea. Also drinkability is low, I don’t think one can have more than half a pint of it.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Green waxed bottle, served in snifter: Nicely smokey with a touch of peat, not over the top. Hint of salted caramel and charred oak leading towards a shockingly clean finish. The lively carbonation adds to the enjoyment and cleanse the palate. Mikey Likey

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle at home. Clear light amber with a beige head. Aroma medium+ malty (caramel, smoke, bourbon, wood). flavor medium+ sweet, light smoky, barrel and bourbon. Medium+ body, light carbonated. Not intense smoked, and not close to Scotch Whisky! But exciting and easily drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
July 1st Sunday. Nose was campfire, caramel malt, smoked malt. Taste is where the bourbon pokes out with some vanilla, but smoke does dominate back to front.
