3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
4 oz pour on draft at ChurchKey during the SAVOR Week 4 Hands / Against The Grain tap takeover, thanks to Kevin I think, or his buddy. Poured a black color with a small tan head. Aroma was roasted malts, chocolate. This was a bit more like an export stout than a sweet stout. Bakers chocolate finish.

4.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
This canned brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized brown colored bubbles that were quickly diminishing and left behind a no visible carbonation opaque dark black brown colored body and a poor lacing. The nice aroma was brown malt. The thick mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a lingering mild roasted malt aftertaste. The yummy flavor contained notes of black malt roasted malt brown malt and hops. Delicious and one I would certainly like to have again.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is a very rich, very sweet stout that works great as a dessert beer. It pours very dark brown, there isn’t a lot of foam. The aroma is like a chocolate candy sampler box. Caramel, chocolate, cream, walnuts, and other sweet notes. The flavor is as sweet as beer can get without being too sweet for my palate. All of that chocolate and candied character is present atop a rich, smooth, delicious malt. I like this beer very much.
