ContemplateBeer (1559) - Louisville, Kentucky, USA - DEC 8, 2012
Aroma of chocolate with an earthy/nutty presence (I imagine this is the buckwheat) and light/moderate resin. Appearance is murky brown with bone head. Flavor matches the nose; the buckwheat is a perfect substitution for the nutty malts usually found in the style. Palate is bubbly. Really quite good.
