An India Pale Ale featuring Nelson Sauvin hops. Named after the Sauvignon Blanc grape, is a variety of hop developed and grown in New Zealand. It has a strong fruity flavor and aroma that is described as resembling white wine, or fresh crushed grapes or gooseberries. Some reviewers of this hop perceive the fruitiness as being very tropical with descriptions including passion fruit, tangerines, and grapefruit.

Bomber from the Malt Shoppe in Tosa. Pours an unclear orangey tan with a nice spongey white head. Aroma has huge citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is quite bitter, sweet fruits, tangy pine ... and more grapefruit. Medium bodied. Little alcohol. Finishes long and bittersweet, but to the bitter side. No real malt presence, but the sweet-bitter balance of the hops is very nice. Definite fan of that hop. 15.2

Sexy Beer for the Sexy Man. Of course. Hazy orange, big white head. Smells grassy, with some citrus notes. Clean, crisp palate. Taste is oddly sweet, like some cookie dough or something like that, the peppery hops. Nice stuff.

Tap. Shakespeares, Sheffield. Hazy, dark gold. Thin, dense, lasting, off white head. Nelson Sauvin it is. Grapey, peachy, and a bit pissy and white wine like. Taste is a nice balance of sweet, and light bitter. Smooth, and full palate. Finish is big, long, rising bitter. Very drinkable. Good one.

This draft brew from a restaurant poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent light orange colored body and a good lacing. The odd aroma was floral and musty. The off-tasting mouth feel was tingly at the start with a mellow finish with a mellow aftertaste. The odd tasting flavor contained notes of floral hops and malt. An OK brew just nothing special.
