American hoppy red ale, brewed with Maris Otter, Pilsner and caramel malts, yielding a solid and complex malt base to set the Nugget, Columbus, Cascade and Saaz hops. A balanced but hop forward red ale, sure to have you speaking in tongues.

Love this one. One of the best, hoppy reds I've ever had. Buy it by the growler or the keg when you can. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. It pours a hazy amber body under a dense two finger light beige head. Curtains. It has rather hoppy aroma, with pine cones and citrus peel, there’s a solid maltyness in the back. It’s full bodied and pleasantly carbonated. The flavor has bitterness, pine cones and resins up front, with toffee-ish malts as a backdrop. Lasting, balanced finish. Nice. 150401

on draft. this reddish color ale with minimal head. has the appearance of your standard red ale but with a bit of a hoppy citrus bite that is quite pleasant. a very good malt base to this beer and reading the deScription using maris otter vs 2 row does give a different flavor. decent beer.
