COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
After the Applebocq and the Redbocq, the Brasserie du Bocq is pleased to announce the birth of the Agrumbocq … The idea for the Agrumbocq arose first of all in the mind of our master brewer. Once again, the starting point is our white beer made by top fermentation to which mandarin juice and the natural aromas of grapefruit and lime are added. Its cloudy appearance, its natural pink grapefruit colour, its fine slightly pinkish head and its pleasantly fruity fragrance are certainly going to delight the most delicate palates. A perfect balance is achieved through the sweet and acid taste of the citrus fruit and the slight bitterness that it releases. It is defined as a very light and refreshing beer. You are advised to drink it very cool. It is ideal after sport! It has barely 3% alcohol volume. The Agrumbocq is currently available in kegs and 25-cl bottles.

28th July 2008. I’m a sucker for sweet fruit beers! pale orange white cloudy beer. Sweet mandarin. Grapefruit is noticeable but the lime is very subtle. Crisp and refreshing.

Bottle: Poured a white yellow with a white head. Aroma is thick with grapefruit. Taste was grapefruit, oranges, and lime. I actually liked this as a relaxing beach drink, but not really beer.

Freaky beer...So it has an unidentifiable color. Probably it is a pale yellow-orange color? But the beer has a nice white foamy stable head. The citrus-orange-peel dominates the flavor, some wheat beer character is in the backgrond. The flavor is freaky like the aroma...It has a ton of orange, orange-peel, some citrus, but in the background i can feel a belgian witbier...And the beer is sweet, very sweet...Nice orange aftertaste.Easy drinkable and freaky one.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of oranges and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of spices and oranges on a malty background. Thanks yespr for sharing.

Like grape-juice. Light yellow coloured and unclear. Has a white head, mostly lasting. Clear aroma of citrus-fruits, mostly grape, light mango too perhaps, and lime. Flavor is heavy sweet, light astringent too. Lively carbonation.

UPDATED: JUL 10, 2011 Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Powerfull orange notes. Not artificial! Almost no beer-related notes left. Powerfull slightly astringent orange peel flavor. Average finish. Syruply palate. Drink instead of applejuice in the morning. Strange experiment, but quite nice.

Bottle. Hazy pale gold with a dissipating head. Aromas are tangerine and melon with icing sugar and lots of floral notes. Flavours are sweet crystallised fruits with lemon sherbet sweets. Soft oranges with a yeasty, dry finish. OK.

Bottle. Tangerine and lime in the aroma and flavor, even lingering on in the aftertaste. Sugary sweet, but not unpleasant because of the citrus sourness and even bitterness.
