It’s dissapeared. Now is amstel beer. So no ratebeer ever. Even Águila never was a good spanish beer

Aguila was bought by Amstel, but I´m not sure if it is the same beer now.
I´m rating the Aguila Amstel beer.
Soft aroma and pale colour.
Agersweet flavor and bitter palate.
Not the worst beer I have tasted.

UPDATED: SEP 11, 2006 Sorry guys, but this was purchased by Amstel, or something happened. This is not really good, I mean is not bad, but is just another lager, if you know it. Perhaps this should be retired because it is just Amstel beer.

Amstel Aguila, Keg
Deep blond color. Some malt aroma. Round lager with the typical strong bitterness.

I had this before it was Amstel, and it made quite an impression on me. Liquid headache in a bottle. I swear they must have put some rat poison in there somewhere, it gave me a headache before I got halfway through the bottle. One can only hope that Amstel improved this swill, but I wouldn’t try it again on a dare.

Pretty boring lager. From the tap it was served ice cold and it was very similar to sam miguel

This was a nice beer with a complete flavor, a little bit bitter. One of the best Spanish beers. A few years ago Amstel bought this company and it turned in somekind of dutch, heineken-like shit, as soda. So be carefull if you rate it, look at the pic.
