3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draught at la Cerveteca, Barcelona, unpasteurised, gas pressure. A hazy deep golden beer with a fine white head and a very attractive aroma, malty and lightly sweet with a phenolic touch. A full dry palate with a dose of grapefruity hops that turns thistly and tongue-coating in the US pale ale style, but not overbitter and with a vivid note of burnt rubber roast, probably from crystal malt. A peppery long-lasting finish with a lingering resin note ends a balanced and enjoyable beer with plenty of substance.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Hazy light sunny golden with plenty of lacing in its white head. Highly mineral, flowery, lightly citric and quite dry blonde really. Very well executed. Nothing very idiosyncratic, but this remains one of the best ales in Spain from what I’ve had. Grassy and long bitter finish and its yeast actually possesses some character.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Draught - Bruxellensis Festival - A hazy light amber coloured beer. The aroma is nicely hoppy with some good balanced malts. Very much like an English bitter only moe hoppy than 99% of same. The taste is fairly standard bitter. Balanced but with just that extra amount of hopping going on. Very drinkable.
