desdemoor (13), London, Greater London, England Oct 12, 2008 Draught at la Cerveteca, Barcelona, unpasteurised, gas pressure. A hazy deep golden beer with a fine white head and a very attractive aroma, malty and lightly sweet with a phenolic touch. A full dry palate with a dose of grapefruity hops that turns thistly and tongue-coating in the US pale ale style, but not overbitter and with a vivid note of burnt rubber roast, probably from crystal malt. A peppery long-lasting finish with a lingering resin note ends a balanced and enjoyable beer with plenty of substance. Rastacouere (5418), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Sep 19, 2007 Hazy light sunny golden with plenty of lacing in its white head. Highly mineral, flowery, lightly citric and quite dry blonde really. Very well executed. Nothing very idiosyncratic, but this remains one of the best ales in Spain from what I’ve had. Grassy and long bitter finish and its yeast actually possesses some character. bierkoning (5077), La Tropica, Netherlands Sep 10, 2007 Draught @ Bruxellensis. Vegetable aroma, cellary perhaps. Vegetable hopbitter flavor. Slightly earthy aftertaste. I’m not impressed. joss (3248), Garching b. München, Germany Sep 1, 2007 Tap at Bruxellensis 06. Dark brown, big golden creamy head. Quite fresh hops, chocolate, light roast, fruit (peach, berries).
Fairly lightbodied. Fruity malf, candied fruit flavornotes which carry over into the aftertaste,
