Deep brown, tan head. Rich chocolatey aroma, tiny hint of sourness too, I think. Lively carbonation, quite a sharp palate. Some raoastiness immediately on swallowing, some alcohol too, and also something that reminds me of my old homebrew. Drying palate, heading towards astringent. Finish is back to the chocolate again, and a bite of earthy hops too.

Hazy medium brown, 2cm off-white head. Again a very dry ale. Nutty, leafy, dried burnt caramel… they all make their appearance in this mineral, hoppy and tasty brown ale of high quality, but perhaps lacking stand-out qualities. Still, for Spain!

Draugth on Bruxellenis. A nice beer for having only 5 % of alcohol. Some fruit and sweet taste

Draught@Bruxellensis. Lightly sweet, with notes of caramel and some light berry fruit flavours. Finish has some light toastyness and finishes off-dry. Quite nice.

Draught - Bruxellensis Festival. Deep brown with thin beige head. Malty aroma of dry malt. Then more dry malt in mouth. Juicy on end though. Good one dimensional strong malt beer with some dryness on end.

Draught - Bruxellensis Festival - There was a lot of confusion about the Agullons beers as the brewer who was working there didn’t apeak English (nor French, nor Dutch). By the time we got to him on the Sunday it was clear that only one of the advertized beers was available but we couldn’t get confirmation which one it was and what its replacement was. However a Female colleague of his appeared later who did speak English. She confirmed that there was no Pura Ale left. I am not sure what time this ran out but certainly us from England or anyone who arrived later did not have the Pura Ale, but the Bruno. This brown ale was on instead. This is a dark brown beer with a nice ring of off-white head. The aroma is dark fruits and a little roasted malt and a little chocolate. The taste is nice and nutty. Caramel flavours, dark fruits and roasted malts. Late on a hoppiness reveals itself. Very decent and drinkable.
