Bottle at 3 Små Rum, as Ahle SommarSpetz. Pours a nice, clear, copper body with a beige head. Heather, myrica gale, camphor, piney hops and some maltyness in the aroma. The flavor is herbal and sweet, with caramel and some bitterness. Medium body and a herbal finish. The aroma of the beer was very promising, but unfortunately the flavor didn’t follow up. Due to the herbs, it’s a kinda strange beer, but with good drinkability. (080709)

Bottle@3 Små Rum Göteborg as Ahle Sommarspetz. Clear dark golden. Thin dense near-white head. Initial aroma of herbs and flowers. Some sugary malts to follow. Peppery notes. Not very flavorful; Sweet grains, a light fruitiness and a modest bitterness. Light body. Short, fairly sweet, light herbal finish.
