Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass very dark, almost black, small head. Starts fine malty, not too roasty, modest sourish. Also some earthy hints, modest dry. Finish well balanced, warming-malty. Good dunkel!

Würzig-röstiger Antrunk, etwas säuerlich. Im Mittelteil weitestgehend wässrig, erst später wird es röstiger, wenig malzig, etwas herb. Langsamer Ausklang, säuerlich-röstig und bitter.

It’s dark brown with a creamy head, and the aroma has notes of malt, caramel, light candy-sugar and metal. The flavour is moderately sweet and slightly metallic with notes of caramel, malt, biscuits, and the finish is dry with a light bitterness.

Bottled@Helsinki Beer Festival 2011, Amber colour, small off-white head Aroma is caramel malts, some fruits, mild wood and some slight ashy and toasted notes. Flavour is dark malts, some wood, mild fruityness, earth and some slight toasted notes.

6 Sweet and simple. A bit of popcorn.

Deep amber color, small off-white head. Diacetylic, some toffee. Medium-bodied. Toffee, diacetyl, messy sweet buns. Some chocolate. Medicore.

Cask at Spuyten Duyvil. Deep brown pour. The nose is of dark malt with a little bit of stewed fruit and a bit of roast. Light roasty dryness on the finish with a little bit of lingering toast. Kind of bland really.

Gravity Spuyten. Pours a deep woody brown with a nice lasting thin ehad and good lace. Aroma is herbal fresh hops, lgith dustiness, cracker, some slightly burnt toast, nuts, lgiht chocolate, grass, light dusty penny. Flavor is more dusty minerla and metallic, but good slightly burnt toast, earth, mineral, crackery malt, light nutty chocolate, earthy ropey and leather in the finish. Ok.

Gravity cask at Churchkey. Dark brown, beige head. Aroma of pumpernickel. Taste is slightly sweet and sour caramel. Light body. Tasty.
