Süßlich-würziger Geruch. Start süßlich. Mittelteil süß-würzige Töne. Abgangs bitter-würzig, süß - durchaus angenehm. Guter Maibock.

0.5l flip-top bottle from Hol’Ab! in Winsen an der Aller, Germany. Pours amber-gold, nice malty nose, sweetish malt and slightly spicy flavour, good chewy body, nice balance.

Bottled. An unclear golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with the strongest note being of caramel.

Light amber and clear. Has a nice malty, aroma, yeasty notes too. Flavor is sweet, caramel, faint toasted. Light bitter finish. Fatty texture. Soft carbonation.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Off-white head recedes to skim surface. Aged, sweet malt aromas. Soft yet full with caramel from front to back. Lasting touch of alcohol in the bitter finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Clear golden with a white head. Sweetish and intense malt aroma. Quite full-bodied with a very solid and clean base of pale malts. Lightly bitter finish. 210309

Bottle. Low and quickly disappearing white fluffy head. Clear golden body. Distinct barley malt aroma with caramel and lemon notes. Flavor also malt dominated plus caramel and a nice hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Long aftertaste. Alcohol level seems just right.

50 cL bottle. Pours almost clear and golden with fully diminished white head. Dry malty and slight dry malty aroma. Bitter and caramel malty base flavoured with a light bitterness coming through. Dry and malty flavoured into the far finish. Mild fruity hoppy note into the finish.

Bottle, 6.5%. 3 weeks past BB date. Quite malty aroma with a little sweet bread and dust. Hazy chestnut colour. Small tan head. The flavour is nicely malty and slightly sweet. Balanced well by a good alcohol level and a little clean bitterness. There is some fruit in the flavour as well, slightly dried and sweet. The alcohol level gives a good mouthfeel.
