From the tap ( Aichinger, Heiligenstadt): Light amber coloured; big fluffy off-white head; malty (honey) nose with some traces of hops; dry, bitter flavour; hoppy, herbal medium lasting aftertaste; well rounded, quite low carbonated; fair!

Thinn off-white head. Orange color beer.
Big caramell malty taste but only tiny sweetness. The bitterness is small that makes it an easy beer to drink.

Mild kernig-würziger Antrunk mit deutlich nussiger Hopfennote. Diese wird intensiver, der Hopfen kristallisiert sich heraus. Vollmundig, die nussigen Nuancen färben auch aufs Malz ab, das zudem Karamellaromen aufweist. Spritzig, vollmundig, rundum gelungen. Besonders die Intensität des Hopfens überrascht. Zum Ende mild aber bestimmt bitter. 8/12/11/12//11

Draught at the brewpub. Seemingly clear copper colour. Big stable white head. Good caramelly flavour, hint of fine aroma hops. Good soft carbonation.

Clear amber with a medium off white head. Breadish nose with malt and caramel. Hoppy and dry flavour with malt and caramel notes. Finished dry and bitter.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, hay, toasted, sweet malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100401]

on tap at the brewery in heiligenstadt - mullet and i were lucky to get in just before closing time. ruddy amber, steady,faint white head. a rusty, prickly pear aroma, fat and buttery texture,some good kellerbier passion fruit character and grassy bitter finish. tasty stuff

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity, malty and quite rich on berries. Flavour is sweet malts, some berries and grassyness. Also some slight honeyish sweetness as it warms up.

0.5 l bottle. Deep golden color with small vanishing head. Sweet, caramelly and honeyish aroma with a hint of butter. Sweet, honeyish, caramelly and worty flavor. Low carbonation. A bit underattenuated for my taste.

(on tap at the 3 Kronen pub) Clear, deep golden colour with a mid-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Grainy malty nose with a floral hops character and a tinge of barnyard. Dry malty, soft grainy and subtle fruity taste; dry and moderately bitter, well-balanced malty and hoppy finish. Balanced and pleasant Landbier (09.02.08).
