Black with tan head & lacing. The aroma has some old hops along with light roastyness and a creamy mocha flavor. Very refreshing porter with balance & slight oxidation. Alcohol bite.

Jun 5, 2008 This was kind of a disappointment. Very light bodied with very small carbonation levels, very tame roastiness with small amounts of chocolate and a hint of dark roasted coffee. Very thin and bland.

Apr 13, 2008 Growler on St. Patrick’s Day. I was told this was Aiken Porter. Dark pour. Almost no head though. No idea how long this was in the growler. Nose is roasted malts, chocolate, and bitter coffee. Taste is dark chocolate, roasted malts, and coffee. Body is medium with light to no carbonation. Ends with more roasted malts, dark chocolate coffee and subtle hop bitterness.
