Pale straw and fizzy. Big grainy nose, creamed corn. Mild but pleasant fresh bread character. Slight acidity livens up the finish.

Clear pale straw gold with lots of bubbles rising. Fresh light honey-lemon aroma and some sweet grain too. Sweet palate but not in a bad way. Has a nice fresh grain body and soft palate. Refreshing for something so sweet and not bad but not sure how much I’d want to drink.

UPDATED: SEP 16, 2008 Draft. Clear and gold with a lasting head. Aroma is light: maybe some crackers and honey. Taste is a little more noticeable of the same. Light bodied and tingly. I like the light touch on the honey, the absence of a dominating citrus flavor, and the less-sickening yeast in this one as compared to most American Wheats. A pleasant surprise, and a good introduction to quality beer for the BMC light lager crowd.

When brought to me, I thought they had given me the blonde by mistake, then the first sip, I knew I had the honey wheat. I love a good wheat beer, but this did not do it for me. The honey is lacking in this honey beer, but still there was a hint. Not my favorite there. Try a sample before ordering a pint of it.

The body is a pale, clear gold with a thin wisp of head on top. There's a mild grassiness in the aroma. The flavor is crisp with a light sweetness. There's a nice dry wheatiness that makes this enjoyable at least. It's clean and easy-drinking, but not exciting.
