Flavor is slightly sweet toasted nut that has those unique British dry, earthy hop and yeast flavors that increase slightly in the middle and finish. Light-medium body and dry palate.

Apr 21, 2007 Growler courtesy of kp sampled on 1/4/07: Pours a slightly hazy copper red with a thin, wispy white head. Aroma of lightly sweet, toasty crystal malts and a mild citrusy hoppiness. Body starts with a lightly sweet toasty, earthy maltiness toward a blander bittersweet finish. An average red ale.
