COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Unfiltered Helles.
FliegerQuell, with its distinctive hop flavor, is on tap all year round, and Airbräu guests should be sure to sample it. This full-bodied ale with its deep, golden color and aromatic flavor is a refreshing pleasure to a beer drinker’s palette. In 2010 FliegerQuell was selected by the German Agricultural Society as the winner of the DLG Gold Medal for the second time.

On draught at the brewpub. Poured a dense straw color with a thick white head. Very soft mouthfeel, medium body, mellow pale malt flavor with a very subtle bitterness and very slight early hop notes on the tongue. Very clean finish. Nice.

Draft at the brewpub. A hazy golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma is sweet bready with notes of citrus. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of bread, but also notes of citrus, leading to a fine lightly bitter and bready finish. The mouthfeel is very soft due to low carbonation.

Hazy pale orange color, good cloudy white head. Light lemony hoppy nose. Refreshing, citrusy-acidic, although it is "easy to drink", has a good malty backbone. Aftertaste is lemony hoppy.

(Draught at the brew pub) Shady yellow color, fluffy white head. Hoppy and malty scent, but rather small. Spicy and hoppy taste, rather earthy touch to the hops that I’ve felt in some small brewed beers in Czech Republic also. Spritzy mouthfeel, medium high bitterness.

Keg at Airbrau, Munich Airport. Orange gold with foamy head. Tangy, lagerish malty beer with a boiled hop note. Lightly roasted and slightly sweet. Perfumey finish.

Draught Hazy yellow-orange beer; head is more lace than foam. Yeasty notes, a bit of citrus, and some disparate pale malts. Soft-sweet, rather well-bodied for a Helles. Sweet malts make up 95% of the flavour, but they are OK in quality. Ends vanilla-creamy. OK Helles, sweet side, but deftig .

Draught at the brewpub. Cloudy yellow, fairly rich head. Spicy, grassy hop aroma. Dry and softly malty, not very firm though. Bready with lots of grassy hops and a lingering bitter finish.

Draught. A cloudy pale yellow beer with a dry wheaty flavour, slight lemony nose but a little thin overall. Refreshing on a hot summers day whilst waiting for your flight.

On tap at Terminal 2. Great unfiltered Lager. Cloudy, pale yellow, with nice white head. A little watery, but also yeasty, gluey and tasty. Nice stuff. Enjoyed this.

A cloudy, mid yellow coloured beer, with a thick, frothy white head. A strong wheaty nose, slightly hoppy, with a touch of citrus in the finish. The taste is dry, with the wheat and hop elements coming through again. The bitterness is present in the aftertaste. Draught from the Brewpub, in München airport.
