3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A cloudy, mid yellow coloured beer, with a thick, frothy white head. A strong wheaty nose, slightly hoppy, with a touch of citrus in the finish. The taste is dry, with the wheat and hop elements coming through again. The bitterness is present in the aftertaste. Draught from the Brewpub, in München airport.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draught at the brew pub.
An unclear dark yellow beer with a fluffy white head. Grainy and herby in the aroma with some citrusy tones. Nice and refreshing hoppy and grainy flavor with a distinctive "brew pub edge". Good bitterness and quite flavorfull, almost biding. Refreshing.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured hazy yellow- like the others have said, almost looks like a Hefe. Head was lasting- very Germanic. Clean malt and grass in the nose. Nice mouthfeel. Good dryness from the hops. The yeastiness form being unfliltered was a very nice touch and added nice body.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
reasonably good lager. agre with joss that this could be classified as a german pilsener because of the sharp bitter hop finish.
a pleasant airport bar - though the europa lounge at Munich is a very nice place with a good bottled beer selection.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pivo’s review makes me think that the brewing process in Airbrau isn’t completely stable...
I am with him on the cloudy looks, but I got a yeasty aroma and a powerfull bitterhop taste and a suitable body, which would place this beer in the ’classic german pils’ section instead of helles.
I rather enjoyed to pass the time after check-in at the airbrau :-)

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
A very interesting color that impersonates a hefeweizen: cloudy and light orange. A quick taste profile moves from light maltiness that is cardboardy to an astringent, acidic bitterness. This brew is thin and not as meaty as one might expect given its color. Overall unbalanced and disappointing. Reminded me of a flawed homebrew. You can get a growler of this stuff to go at the airport brewery, which makes no sense to me – who is gonna lug a huge bottle of brew on a plane and lose the deposit? My tip: if you are at the Munich airport and have time for a beer, buy a bottle of Paulaner. Better yet, if you have a lot of time to kill, go visit the Weihenstenphaner Brewery in
Freising about 10 kilometers from the airport. Erding is also close by.
