Pivo’s review makes me think that the brewing process in Airbrau isn’t completely stable...
I am with him on the cloudy looks, but I got a yeasty aroma and a powerfull bitterhop taste and a suitable body, which would place this beer in the ’classic german pils’ section instead of helles.
I rather enjoyed to pass the time after check-in at the airbrau :-)

On tap at Airbrau, Munich. Cloudy amber with a decent sized head. Aroma is mildly hoppy but hard to pick out. Tastes of bitter lemon hops with slight sweetness. Pleasant. Mouthfeel is average - tangy and carbonated. Really not bad but in a city full of great beers this needs to do more to stand out from the crowd.

(Tap) Farblich ist es nett, hellgelb, es ist hefetrüb mit einer weißen Schaumkrone. Das Aroma riecht noch "jung", nach lupulinigem Hopfen und einem bisschen CO2. Geschmacklich ist es sehr getreidig, jung und minimal süßlich. Im Nachgeschmack ist eine angenehme Bittere. Die Karbonisierung ist gut. Zusammengefasst denk ich, dass der Brauer in Verzug gekommen ist und das Bier nicht "fertig" ist => Re-Rate it!?

On tap at the brewpub waiting for our flight to Erlin. Clear medium gold, chunky white head. Aroma is a little eggy, sweet grains. Sweet pale malts, low bitterness. I liked the pils better, but Smitty preferred this one.

On tap at the brewpub. Cloudy golden with a good white head. Grassy and spicy hop nose. Good bitterness provided by the noble hops. Delicious.

On tap at Airbräu München Flughafen. Poured hazy yellowbronze in colour with creamy white head. Malty, hay and hoppy aroma. Flavour hoppy with some hay also. Slightly bitter aftertaste.

Mild getreidiger Antrunk, dessen Aromen im Mittelteil etwas stärker werden. Spritzig, eine aufkommende Herbe passt zu der zur selben Zeit auftretenden Süße. Die Getreidearomen werden stärker, das Bier vollmundiger. Zum Ende gewollt ruppiger durch trockene Herbe. Gut! 9/12/12/12//12

Draft in the biergarten. Cloudy yellow, fluffy white head. Aroma of white pepper. Taste has lemon and pepper with a bitter finish. Nice.

Tap at Munich airport. Really cloudy light orange color with nice head retention and lacing. Lightly bitter and bready aroma. Loads of crackers in the taste, but not much going on in any department. Crackery, dry, and soft body. Not bad.

Nice hazy golden. Aroma has farm fresh grain. Quaffable nutty grain character. Fruity body and lovely balance is fruity-nutty.

Cloudy tan. Fluffy head. Yeasty, pedio aroma. Dry, with some light pale malts, hints of spice. A quick pint, but maybe lacking style.
