Krug. Toasty, somewhat caramelly character. Dry, slightly herbal finish. Light leafiness on the nose.

UPDATED: DEC 7, 2010 Surprisingly excellent offering from an airport brewery. Incredible mouthfeel. Hoppy, smooth, and balanced. Lovely fresh worty aroma. Savored every sip and never once got bored with this beer. Can easily stand up to its more well-known corporate counterparts.

Golden coloured. Mainly malty aroma and flavour but with some hoppy notes underneath. Quite sweet.

On tap at the Munich airport. One last Oktoberfest beer before shoving off and ending my trip to Germany. Dark gold in color- similar to the fest beers at Die Wiesen, but not quite up to par in flavor. This oktoberfest has more bittering hops than many- I suspect they are Hallertau- and the tongue bite is more pronounced than the others. Still, it is not the rich Marzen that I would like to have had. Good for an airport beer.

Neutral nose Morning urine yellow, but cloudy - they might want to test it for diabetes. Lowish head. Yeast and bitterhop, some alcohol evident. Fullbodied with a bready aftertaste. I wasn't all too happy with it - must have come from a different tank than fiulijn's....

Hazy golden to amber color. Nice hop aroma. Very good body, well malty, with some sweetness, subtle caramel, very good hopping (bitter and aromatic). Strong and long final.
