On tap (0.33 l) at the brewpub at Munich airport. Clody light yellow color, good head. Fruity hop aroma of grapes and maybe Litchi. Quite mild for a Pilsener, but the fruity refreshing taste is amazing.

Draft at the brewpub, Munich Airport, to conclude the Bamberg Jolly of January 2014. Pours hazy yellow with a frothy white cap. Biscuity aroma, with light cereal and hay. Light to medium sweet flavor with doughy bread, faint floral hops, sugary cereal. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with notes sweet biscuits, cereal, white bread, mild bitter straw. Very basic but tasty and drinkable.

on tap in the brewery biergarten. quite a hazed yellow with a keen head and soapy lacing; some red berry and hay in the aroma; more bitter than expected, somewhere between grassy and tinny; light yeast bite, quick and pleasant

On tap at Airbrau Munich airport. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Lager malt aroma quite cereally. Then some interesting lemon hop on the finish which is quite dominant. The lemon hop finish is excellent. Good beer.

Tap at the brewpub. Cloudy light/pale gold with a fine head. Nice hoppy nose, herbs and lemon, a bit of cracker malt. Sweet malts, a bit of honey, just a touch of diacetyl, herbal and spicy hops. A tiny bit of DMS too. Good peppery finish. The flaws are not huge, but bring it down.

On draft at the Airbrau brewery facility at the Munich airport. Unfiltered for sure, pours wit-beer hazy with good head. Taste is two big steps down from the unfiltered Pils at Weihenstephan. Not bad, the flavor is just not quite right. Some astringency I wasn’t expecting. Not terrible, but probably the worst beer I had in Germany of many dozens.

330ml draft at Next to Heaven. Cloudy yellow, thick, good sized head. Taste and aroma are typical German pils done well. Crisp body. OVerall, was easy to drink with only a few spare minutes to make my connection.
