Weissbier fans will love Kumulus, another Airbräu beer available all year round. Refreshing, lively and fruity, with the typical feel of a top-fermented beer and slightly reduced carbonation, this is a beer that goes down easily. Some who try it tell us that Kumulus puts them on Cloud Nine. They must be paying the flavor a compliment.
12.2 °P, unfiltered.

At the brewery tap, 5/5/2014. Hazy gold with a decent white head. A refreshing wheat beer which had a pleasant citrus edge in addition to the cloves and yeasty grains.

Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Air Brau, Munich Airport. Cloudy amber beer, short and very pale cream coloured head. Smooth airy palate, semi dry. Smooth wheaty malt, light spice and cloves, just a touch of banana. Crispy finish. Not bad.

A cloudy, pale orange-yellow coloured beer with a thick, lasting white head. A typical wheat beer aroma, the spiciness of clove and cinnamon are at the fore, then tropical fruit, banana in particular, then a smoky cereal aroma in the background. Medium-dry mouthfeel. The taste is as expected, with a few surprises! There is a clove and cinnamon spice, the sweet banana, tropical fruit flavour is joined by grapefruit, and the smoky cereal element from the aroma is present, especially wheaty in the finish. The shining light of the evening! Tasted at the Airbräu, Munich Airport.
