| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 29, 2009 On tap at The Local in SD. This beer has an incredible amount of yeast. It is nearly white as the keg was just changed and I got an early mixed up pour. This has a fantastic sulfur aroma. Wounderful wheat/apples/pears. The tartness is mild for this much yeast and it has just the right splash of fizziness. This is a good hefe. It seems very German without the doughiness. Nice. badlizard (2417), Berkeley, California, USA
