Really nice; borders on a quad -- almost quad light if you will. Pours murky brown. Sublime dark fruit flavors, with the perfect degree of sweetness. Belgian yeast zing infuses throughout. Not as carbonated as a true Belgian. An excellent balanced beer. A- ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear copper color with tan sheen. Dark fruit, yeasty dark bread aromas with rootbeer spices. medium body, soft carbonation. Big dark pit fruit flavors with spiced toffee, rootbeer spices, dark bread--mild warming alcohol to finish----good

Bottle:   Very dark caramel, thin sudsy off-white head, little to no lacing.   Soft semi-sweet bready nose, touch of dark pitted fruit.   Caramel, breadiness, soft dark pitted fruit on the tongue.   Not a bruiser, seems somewhat soft yet flavorful.   Doesn’t come across as Belgian as others, but I guess thats to be expected.   I don’t know that Airways has a reputation for great Belgian beers.   Regardless, seems decent.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Sweet caramel bready finish, soft dark fruit lingers.   Not as musty or as heavy in the dark fruit, but decent enough.   Perhaps a bit more bready, but thats almost to be expected from an American brewer.   Enjoyable at least.

Rubescent amber hue, with thinnish head. Metallic cherry and cough syrup nose. Medium-bodied, moderately viscous and warming. Again the cherry and cough syrup notes make their presence known. Somewhat viscous, cough syrupy body that at some points seems thin. An uneven beer, but not bad.

Bomber from Malt and Vine. Pours ruddy amber with a rather transient beige head. Aroma of warm dark bread with lots of dark fruit. Med body. It is fruity in a pretty dark way. There is malt suggesting pumpernickel. There’s some Belgian yeast/spice, and I think perhaps some earthiness. Hallertauer? I don’t know what else to say other than I’m enjoying it immensely.

Dark in color murky with a Super flavor. I am glad to have tried this and after giving it time to mature and become a great strong Belgian ale. Will hold well over the years and become a fantastic strong ale.

Pleasant and fairly easy to drink, especially for being almost 10 percent. Yeasty, earthy, wholesome, and estery (banana, clove, other spices). Raisin and honey-like sweetness. A bit too sweet for me, overall, and it’s kind of cobwebby. Alcohol is hidden well. Overall it’s pretty decent, but it lacks some depth.

Basement dusty dark fruit and brown bread on the nose. Hazy brown pour thin white head. Flavors of dusty basement dark fruit and brown sugar. Light belgian yeast sweetness and some alcohol. Not flawed.

22. Pours a murky, ruddied dark brown. Loose tan head falls quickly away to a slim rim. No lace. Mild nose of darkened caramel, figs, dates, and brown sugar. Creamy thick body, almost flat. Figs, dates, darkened caramel, and brown sugar on the mid palate. Mild finish. Nice but very restrained.
