Draft at Tacoma’s lovely Red Hot. Pours a cloudy bright orange with a dense and creamy off-white head that really sticks around and around. Mild pleasant orangey piney nose. Not super forward. Creamy medium body with caramel, orange, and pine showing. Mild piney finish, not too resiny. Pleasant and on the sweet side a little bit. Might be a little butter there, but, other than that, not obviously flawed, just not really memorable.

Clear light amber color/ ivory head. Big hoppy pine, floral aromas. Medium body. Lots of hoppy bitter grapefruit, pine flavors on a weak pale malt base--

Apricot-amber, frothy head. Gorgeous. Pleasant zephyr of fruit and floral notes waltz hand in hand with malt sweetness to the delight of the olfactory sense. Fresh grainy body. A bit of a fruity hop finish.

Draft at Washington Brewers Fest 2010. Pours a hazy grayish tinted dark golden with ample head. Nose has a balance of bready malt and piney hops with ample earthiness. Somewhat chewy in feel. Straight forward bread malt, hints of tea and bittering pine hop flavor.

Nice hoppy aroma, golden in color clear with a thin head. A wonderful flavor this was a mild IPA and not over the top as some PAC NW IPA’s can become. Dry finish with a good mouthfeel this was a very nice IPA.
